Flood Disaster Relief
Service Description
We’ll be setting up a medical clinic in a friend’s carport and also going door to door to see if any residents, especially kupuna, require medical attention. We also will provide manpower to help residents clean out their homes which have been filled with mud and the surrounding areas where debris has been scattered. We need workers to clean interiors of homes by pushing out mud, hosing things, moving things to the dump, etc. They said if we show up on Friday, they will put our teams to work. What to Bring (for yourself): - Snacks - Water - Boots/ close toed shoes - Extra shirt (if raining) - Wipes to wipe down before your car ride home - Towel for yourself - Clean shoes for the ride home *Carpooling and 4-wheel-drive is recommended if possible (the parking in some areas is very very muddy and very deep)
